Apply for GRCO

Graduate Research and Creative Opportunity (GRCO) grants provide a $1,000 grant to support original research, scholarship, or creative work by USU graduate students with the guidance of a faculty member. Proposals include requests for funds to cover the costs of equipment, supplies, and project-related travel.

The grant is awarded to students only once per year. Interested students must apply between May 22 and June 15, or wait for the next fall cycle.

Before you apply, do you have the following documents ready to upload?

  • Proposal Narrative
  • Project Timeline
  • Budget
  • Curriculum Vita

Do not submit a GRCO proposal without these 4 documents being complete and finalized. It will not be reviewed!

In addition, make sure to confirm with your faculty mentor that they will provide us with a letter of support. We will be contacting your faculty mentor after the proposal is submitted.
